Kensington Limestone Mantel

The Kensington is a simple, elegant and beautifully proportioned mantelpiece manufactured in pure Turkish limestone. This exclusive design has a contemporary feel and is ideally suited to partner the Arbeia range of multi-fuel stoves or the Cast Tec range of cast-iron fireplace inserts.


The Kensington, with a shelf length of 1350mm (53"), is also available and shown as a full limestone suite, which includes a hearth and back panel suitable for gas or electric appliances.


We do not recommend that limestone hearths be fitted with solid fuel appliances due to the high maintenance required. A honed or polished granite hearth would be more appropriate in these circumstances.


The Kensington is also available in Roman Stone (mocha crème) or Polar White micro marbles.


Mantel legs can be moved closer together or further apart on fitting to change the size of the fireplace opening.

Marble Information: Spanish Crema Marfil and Italian Carrara are natural marbles created millions of years ago and as such are very volatile with natural veining, faults and imperfections which are often considered to be their beauty. The pure marble you see in the showroom will not look the same as the pure marble you are supplied with by your retailer. If these imperfections are likely to cause any distress please opt for the man-made alternative micro marbles such as Mocha Beige and Polar White. Micro Marbles are made from 95% crushed marble and 5% resin and are more stain resistant, hard wearing and offer consistency in coloration.
